The benefits of working at Digital Power

A buddy will be paired with you once you start with us. They will help you settle into our organisation during your first 6 months and introduce you to how we work. Your buddy will also guide you along to the Golden Triangle

The Golden Triangle focuses on your development as a consultant. If you have been with us for a while, and are getting to know your immediate colleagues, you can set your own development goals. From knowing your colleagues, you can ask them to help you achieve your development goals. In other words, that is up to you. Together with your supervisors, you will draw up a personal development plan designed for you specifically. They will help you incorporate details and actions into this, becoming your personal sparring partner.

Our internal training calendar contains training courses to help you become a better consultant. Some training courses are also relevant for staff members.

Follow an R or Python training course given by a colleague or join an internal knowledge-sharing session on Data Engineering. You can also develop by following training courses on subjects such as 'Dealing with resistance', 'Stakeholder management', 'Working more efficiently', 'Presentation skills' and 'Coaching others'.

Do you need extra knowledge about agile working for your assignment? Even then we can help you. It is also possible to get your SCRUM Master or Product Owner certificate.

As part of our team, your personal development will proceed in several stages:

1. Starter: your first months as a data professional

2. Junior: working in our team for up to 1.5 years

3. Medior: after approximately 3 years

4. Senior: after approximately 4 years

After five years, you choose which path you want to take. Do you want to become:

6. ...or a wide-ranging generalist?

You have a training budget with us. This means that, in consultation, you can take courses and training programmes if they are relevant to your (future) role.

If you want to pursue a Bachelor's or Master's degree, we will look together at how you can combine this with your work. For each individual, we look at what conditions we then apply.

Some of us annually participate in events such as MeasureCamp, Data + AI Summit, Conversion Hotel and dbt Summit. You can attend this event as a visitor, but if you would like to speak on our behalf at such an event, there are also opportunities.

At Digital Power, development is paramount. We encourage this by providing an unlimited development budget and focus on knowledge sharing.

One thing we truly excel in is our personal support on your development path. You probably have a good idea of where you want to go. The two supervisors you choose will help you identify specific goals and actions. We call this "The Golden Triangle".

As long as you keep developing, you will also keep growing in our organisation. Your pay raise is linked with your drive to progress. As long as that happens, your growth is guaranteed!

Yes! Please do! At Digital Power, you will not only learn a lot, but we also expect you to share your knowledge and experiences within (and sometimes outside) the organisation!

You can share your knowledge in many ways, so please do choose the one that suits you. Present your new skills to the team, provide training to colleagues or a client team, climb on stage at an event like the Big Data Expo, host a meet-up, coach your colleagues one-on-one or share your knowledge by writing articles and ebooks.

Whether you are a consultant or a staff member: transport should never be an issue. What is your choice?

• An NS Business card that allows you unlimited free travel throughout the country by train, even for leisure.
• Own transport and a kilometre allowance of €0.21 per km, even if you cycle.
• A pool car, lease car or temporary rental car (we will be happy to provide you with more information on the conditions)

A challenging assignment at a cool organisation sometimes requires you to get out of bed early: that's the life of a consultant! Sometimes you are lucky and you only have to cycle 15 minutes.

In exceptional cases, it may happen that you have to travel longer than an hour by public transport. Of course, this is only done in consultation and we are happy to think along with you about the ideal work-life balance. You have the freedom to work partly from home anyway!

Most of our clients have a location in the Randstad, but we operate throughout the country. Are you the perfect candidate for an assignment in Eindhoven or Zwolle? If so, we will definitely introduce you! Any start is of course always done in consultation with you.

This varies greatly for each consultant. After all, your daily schedule is both assignment- and person-dependent. You are responsible for the outcome of your assignment. To make an impact, you will be on-site at the client as much as possible.

When you work at home, in the office or with the client, you coordinate with each other. As a guideline (for a 40-hour week), we have 2 days per week at the client and 1 day at our office. By being physically present and visible, you can quickly switch and communicate with both your client and colleagues.

Fridays you work on your assignment, development & knowledge sharing. Have you been stuck with a complicated problem or question for a few days? On Fridays, there is always a colleague willing to share their thoughts with you.
