Digital Power expands with acquisition of Adversitement
Amsterdam, 3 December 2019 - With this acquisition, our team increases to 120 data specialists and we will become one of the largest players in the field of data in our country.
From subsidiary organisation to buyer
Digital Power was founded in 2012 as a subsidiary and secondment branch of Advertising. In mid-2016, the agency came under new management and took its own course as an independent limited company. A strong emphasis on attracting talent and broadening the client portfolio to include many A-brands resulted in very strong growth in the number of consultants.
Scale creates opportunities
"We continued as two separate organisations in 2016, but still worked a lot for the same clients. For instance, in recent years we often met at Univé, KWF, Consumentenbond, ASML and Philips. Although we have a different way of working, our areas of expertise match perfectly," says Digital Power CEO René de Boer. "Digital Power's mission is to be THE data partner. Scale is an important driver for this. With the addition of Advertising's data specialists, no one can ignore us anymore."
Second location in Den Bosch
De Boer expects a smooth integration of both organisations as there is a large overlap of customers and knowledge. "We also complement each other well: in recent years, we have structured Digital Power optimally and laid a solid foundation for further growth. Adversitement brings the specialist technical expertise that more and more customers are asking for. "Apart from the recently opened new headquarters in Amsterdam, the second location in Den Bosch will be opened soon.
